WordPress Setup on AWS with Bitnami and Le’ts Encrypt free SSL (part 2)

No much help here, each site have his own life and such we just have few tips.

Like when we build website for you, we will do it on offline server for testing and your approval, once you approve we use Bitnami built in importer plug-in to upload content from offline server to online server and publish it.

Plugins

Here is list of my favorite Plugins,  add your favorite @ comment 🙂

  1. Akismet Anti-Spam: No one like spam on his website.
  2. All In One SEO Pack: Google rank you for site content and value, SEO plugins today won't get you to first place in Google Search, but it will help your site look nice organized and above all help you communicate with Robots indexing your site. Doesn't matter which plugin you choose for SEO, make sure you set up: SiteMap, Title, Description, Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics.
  3. EWWW Image Optimizer: Shrink site images!
  4. Google Captcha: Block Spam and make site looks secure and up to date with latest technology and security.
  5. Page Builder by SiteOrigin: Forget about heavy coding to make site looks good, Page Builder is simple yet very powerful drag and drop design tool.
  6. Wordfence Security: Protract your data, easy setup after setup you can scan your site to find any security hole, you get email when admin login and weekly reports.
  7. WP Mail SMTP: Easy setup for any email provider.
  8. WP Statistics: Know your visitors! You can see traffic source, search words and more.

Google Page Speed

After few testing we got list of plugins that give the best result for Google Page Speed.

  1. Async JavaScript: Increase Java script performance.
  2. Autoptimize: Optimize JS, CSS, HTML, Images and Google Fonts.
  3. W3 Total Cache: Compass site - but tricky to setup on Bitnami we will add guide how to set it up.

Don't forget to smash images!
